In many instances it is difficult to determine the exact date of death of aircrew that are officially listed as missing, or failed to return from operations. If an aircrew member had crashed or baled out and landed in the sea or inhospitable area, it is always a possiblity that he may have survived a number of days before death, in this case we have to officially list that aircrew member as being killed or missing on the actual date of the operation or duty that he was carrying out.

All aircrew are listed under the first letter of their surname and may be found by clicking on the alphabetical button shown at the top and bottom of each page. The "left" and "right" arrows allow you to go back or go forward by one page.
